Part 21- How to configure TELNET on switch (Switch Configuration)- Computer Networking- CCNA

Hello friends.. i am Vasu Birla and today we will see that how to configure Telnet on switch.... so  here we go... <script async src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script> <script>   (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({     google_ad_client: "ca-pub-6140727139411440",     enable_page_level_ads: true   }); </script> How to Configure Telnet on Switch In the last part we did assign a IP address to Cisco switch that is 192.168.1.2 . To see what IP address is configured on switch following command is used - Sw1> Sw1>en Sw1#show ip in br    it means Show IP interface in brief, it will show all IP addresses of switch and PCs. now let's configure Telnet first go to configuration mode using Conf t command Sw1> Sw1>en Sw1#conf t Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z. Sw1(config)#line vty ? <0...

Part 20- How to give IP address to Switch (Switch Configuration)- Computer Networking- CCNA

Hello friends.... i am Vasu Birla .. and today i am starting a new Segment that is Switch Configration so in this part we will know that how can we assign an IP addresses to switches... so Let’s start...... How to Give IP address to Cisco Switch  As we know that switch does work on layer 2 means Data link layer of the OSI model than how we actually need to assign the ip address in switches so answer is if you want to perform any management task like if you want to access that switch remotly from anywhere and want to configure or want to update something so for these tasks you need a IP address so lets understatnd it with pics.  1.  first of all we must have a Cisco Switch and some PCs.  so suppose we have a one switch but make sure nothing should be connected first of all. Nothing should be connected before switch connected to Power 2. now connect the Switch to the electricity power.    3.  Press and hold the mode but...

Part 19- Router (Networking Devices)- Computer Networking- CCNA

Hello friends...i am Vasu Birla and today will discuss about the most important Networking Device ..Router.  so let's start... ROUTER Router is a device which connect two or more networks together, which is why router is also known is Inter-networking device also. Inter-networking means two or more networks are connected together with the help of router. one more thing router is just like a computer  but it is designed for routing only, our computer can be router also but that are software router while hardware router which are specialize for routing is more efficient and fast than software router.  There is a Operating System installed on router which get moves data from one network to another network with the help of routing table.  Router does work on Network layer or Layer 3 of the OSI model.  Cisco Router There many companies which manufacture Router but main companies are - Cisco , Juniper , HP, 3com and Nortel  ...

Part 18- Switch (Networking Devices)- Computer Networking- CCNA

Hello friends... next Networking Device is Switch. Switch It is the device that connects the multiple devices and network segments, it is also known as Multi-port Network bridge. means in bridge there were only two ports but here there are many ports behaving like bridge. It works on Layer 2 of the OSI Model. But today you can got the switches which works on Layer 3 or Network Layer , these switches are known as layer 3 switch or Multilayer switch. Switch receive the data on it's own port in form of frames and transmit it to that device for which this particular data is. It is not like a HUB because if HUB receive data so it will forward to all ports but switch is very intelligent device , it send data to only right single destination. Today in every Network switch is most important device. Working of Switch - Switch creates a Separate collision domain for each switch port. it just like a bridge but bridge can divide network into only two collision domain while...

Part 17- Network Bridge (Networking Devices)- Computer Networking- CCNA

hello friends .. i am Vasu Birla and today we will discuss about the another network device that is Network Bridge. Network Bridge  Network Bridge is a device which is used to get connect multiple network segments. And it is capable to filter data traffic on the base of MAC(Media Access Control) address. This device works on Layer 2 of OSI Model. The Main function of Bridge is to reduce the amount of data traffic in the network by the dividing of LAN into multiple segments. WHY Network Bridge was needed ?  Look at above picture ,  suppose there is a Local area network and using bus topology or Ethernet devices are connected with it.  now look in picture there are 8 computers .  suppose if computer 1 is want to communicate or transfer data computer 4, so he will send data but problem was that , all remaining computer get the same data , number 4 computer will receive data and all computer would drop the data so it would create a unwanted data traffi...

Part 16- HUB (Networking Devices)- Computer Networking- CCNA

hello friends , Today we will discuss about the second Networking Devices Ethernet HUB. HUB Hub is a centralize device via all devices (computers, printers etc.) are connected with the star topology.  Hub connects other multiple devices together and helps to make connectivity mutually so that they can share and transfer data to each and every devices which is connected to that hub.  Hub does work at the first layer means at Physical layer of the OSI Model. Hub has many ports, and each port works like a repeater so Hub is also known as Multiport Repeater. A Hub Types of Hubs. there are three kind of Hubs. Active , passive and Manageable hubs. 1. Active Hubs - These hubs regenerates and amplify the signals to keep them strong. one more thing there is electricity needed in the active Hubs. 2. Passive Hubs- Passive Hubs simply forward the received signals. this type of hub does not make pure signal or regenerate so  these passive hubs...

Part 15- What is Repeater (Networking Devices)- Computer Networking- CCNA

Repeater  hello friends i am Vasu Birla and today i am starting new segment of CCNA computer networking  its a Networking Devices. we will discuss every important Devices used in networks. Repeater is a first networking devices. What is Repeater  Repeater is a device that receives signals and re-transmits by amplifying or regenerating signals. Repeater has two port one is for receive signals from previous network and second port is for retransmit signals to the next extended network. Two Port Repeater Repeater is a device which is used to Regenerate or replicate signal (Pichhe se aa rahe signal ko regenerate karke ya amplify karke aage strong signals bhej sakte he) Analog and digital both type of signals can be retransmitted by repeater. Here there is difference between regeneration and amplifying.  Amplification means , received signals will be amplified as it is , whether there are impurities in signals  and Regeneration means repeate...

Part14 of Segment 1- Application Layer of OSI Model- Computer Networking- CCNA

Application Layer  It is nearest layer to use, It woks as a interface between actual application and remaining all layers.  application layer provides services to software applications and programs it means. Apllication Layer functions  Identifying communication partners (It means application layer identify the partner who is to be communicate on network) Determining resource availability (Check the network recourse availability like modem, switch, router ets.) Synchronizing Communication (This layer ensure that communication is being done in synchronize way )

Computer Networking- CCNA part 13 of Segment 1- Presentation Layer of OSI Model

Presentation Layer  Hello friends , i am vasu birla and today will talk about 6th layer of OSI model. Note this these layers are not software or hardware, it is just for understanding and logical theory of understanding of working of network. We can understand this layer by it's name Presentation  means to present something. When any system sends data to another system so it may be that second system would not present the same data as given by sender system. Presentation layer make data viewable according to recieving system.   For more easy understanding lets look some functions of this layer- Translation -  There are different kind of platforms in the network (windows, linux, mac etc) these systems are different so way of presentation of  data is also different. for this problem presentation layer Translate the data from original form to viewable form of recieving system. for example if you open any website on Windows OS...

Computer Networking- CCNA part 12 of Segment 1- Session Layer of OSI Model

Session Layer  OSI Model's fifth layer is session  layer. This layer handles the issues which are related to software.  Session layer maintain session from the user connected to terminate connection. (User ke internet se connect hone se lekar disconnect hone ke bich ke sare session establish and terminate karne ka kaam session layer karti he)some important functions are performed by this layer are follows; Establishing connection. Maintaining connections Synchronizing communication Controlling dialogues Terminating connections. Session Layer is responsible for establishing , maintaining and terminating sessions between the end level users. These sessions are made by  request and responses among applications. For example-  When we use web browser and logon to different websites so at that time many sessions are created for each websites.  for more easy understanding  suppose at a time i am downloading any file so at that tim...

Computer Networking- CCNA part 11 of Segment 1- Transport Layer of OSI Model

Transport Layer  hello friends , i am Vasu Birla and today we will dicuss about he forth layer that is Transport Layer.  This layer works as a transaction point between upper three layer application , presentation , sessikon layers and lower three data layers   physical , data link and network layer. As we all know today’s computers supports multitasking features.   Multitasking means at the same thime multiple applications can be run and send and recieve data . Transport layer provides servieces through which these all applications can send and receive data using lower layers at the same time.  Transport layer is also responsible for end to end transport. Transport layer moniters diffrent kind of data which recived from diffrent application. Transport layer combines these data into a single data unit and send it to lower layer. And at lower layers recieving devices split this single unit data and send to compatible applications. (J...
